The Fall Farmers Market originally scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 5th has been postponed while the second phase of redevelopment in Sherrill Brook Park is completed. Ground has been broken for a 100-foot by 30-foot pavilion that will serve Farmers Market vendors and visitors as early as this fall.
The New Hartford Farmers Market closed out its regular season at the New Hartford Shopping Center last week after running for nine weeks this summer. Prior to this year, there has not been a Farmers Market in NH for more than 10 years.
The Chamber of Commerce looks forward to cultivating the Farmers Market in New Hartford into a traditional event for our community. Special thanks goes to Nathalie Nerber, Chamber Board Member and Farmers Market Coordinator, for all her hard work in reestablishing and managing the Farmers Market in New Hartford.
The Chamber would also like to convey its sincere gratitude to the farmers and vendors who committed their time and talents in establishing the new Farmers Market in New Hartford this summer.
