Small Business Saturday is always on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and was designed to bring attention to local, small businesses during the height of the holiday shopping season. Small Business Saturday follows Black Friday on Saturday November 27th. In New Hartford, we have a growing tradition of having a scavenger hunt-type contest where the goal is to visit as many local small business chamber members as possible. The public is invited and provided with a map featuring participating chamber members. At the end of the day, a drawing is held with many prizes donated by participating and sponsoring members including the grand prize of a $500 shopping certificate!!

The day will culminate in a Village Stroll and tree lighting ceremony in the Village Green. Prizes will be awarded in the gazebo.
