 Small Business Saturday is always on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and was designed to bring attention to local, small businesses during the height of the holiday shopping season. Small Business Saturday follows Black Friday on Saturday November 27th. In New Hartford, we have a growing tradition of a scavenger hunt-type contest where the goal is to visit participating Chamber Members and find a special QR code. When the code is scanned with a smartphone (or link entered into a browser) you will be taken to an entry page on our Chamber website where you will enter your mobile phone number. This process is repeated at each participating Chamber Member business. The public is invited and prizes will be awarded to those who visit the most participating chamber members. Every visit and entry will get you another chance of winning door prizes donated by members ($50 minimum value) and the: GRAND PRIZES $500 and $250 SHOPPING CARDS The day will culminate in a tree lighting ceremony in the Village Green at 6:30pm. Drawings from all eligible entries will take place and winners will be sent a text message notifying them of their prize.
